Important News About Your METRO Tickets
Houston ConnectSmart users who have unused METRO tickets in your ConnectSmart Wallet will be affected by an upcoming change in service. As of December 26, 2024, METRO’s digital ticketing services will no longer be offered through the Houston ConnectSmart app.

What does this mean to you?
Beginning December 26, 2024, Houston ConnectSmart users will no longer be able to purchase, store, or use METRO tickets through the ConnectSmart app. Any unused METRO tickets as of that date will be refunded in full to users’ accounts with Coins in their ConnectSmart Wallet.
Users will still be able to plan trips (including transit), earn rewards, and use Coins to pay for Uber rides and gift cards through the app.
